It is in the downtown of Budapest that the Learning Expedition Group has visited the premises of BNP Paribas, to meet the Human Resources Director (HRD), Krizstina Bankuti and the CEO, Bernard Panuel, a French expatriate for over 3 years in Budapest. Backed by a team of 3 employees specialized on HR topics, Krizstina Bankuti, with more than 10 years of experience at BNP Paribas, holds the position of HRD with the Eastern Europe perimeter and manage around 180 employees covering Hungary but also the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. A big challenge for the HRD full of perseverance and ambition: « When I take HR Regional lead, I did not direct know about what I have to do, just some expectations. But I told myself, it is necessary to survive, I need to do something it was very hard on the beginning but finally really a great experience!».

The HR policy and the management quality demonstrated innovation and quality in terms of HR practices: cafeteria plan with modification of » benefit package « , large CSR actions such as organization of diverse programs for those children cannot leave the Children’s Home or employees of BNPP devote their spare time to participate programs on weekends. We can also note the actions of team building that federate team spirit and a collective cohesion: Sports day, talent breakfast with high potential, breakfast with Exco members, christmas party, etc .. Such a recipe for the loyalty and involvement of employees:« Our Staff is our asset ».
Warm testimonies
The testimony of the CEO, Bernard Panuel, reflects us the large conviviality within the team and he shared a great philosophy to acquire as an expatriate employee traveling or working abroad for the success of its missions and particularly its integration “Adapt yourself to the others not wait from the other to adapt them to you”. We conclude our meeting with few warm words from the HRD very moving and full of encouragement for our young HR students: « I really love my job and I cannot imagine myself doing something else, I know my employees personally and professionally, I love them».
